ဒေါက်တာသည် (အင်္ဂလိပ်: Doctor) ကို မြန်မာဘာသာသို့ အသံဖလှယ်ပြီး မွေးစားထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဆေးပညာဘွဲ့ (MBBS) ရ ဆရာဝန် ၊ သွားဖက်ဆိုင်ရာဆေးပညာဘွဲ့ (BDS) ရ သွားနှင့်ခံတွင်းဆိုင်ရာဆရာဝန်၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဆေးပညာဘွဲ့ (BVS) ရ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဆေးကုဆရာဝန် သို့မဟုတ် ပါရဂူဘွဲ့ (PhD) ရ ပညာရှင်များ၏ အမည်ရှေ့တွင် ဂုဏ်ပုဒ်စကားလုံးဖြင့် ထည့်သွင်းအသုံးပြုသော စကားလုံးဖြစ်သည်။
