ပူးလက် အား Beta Geminorum ဟုလည်းသိထားပြီး (အတိုကောက် β Geminorum, β Gem) သည် လိမ္မော်ရောင်သမ်းသော ကြယ်ဘီလူးဖြစ်ပြီး နေမှ အလင်းနှစ် ၃၄ ဝေးကွာကာ မြောက်ဘက်ကောင်းကင်၏ ဂျီမီနီ ကြယ်စုတန်းတွင် တည်ရှိသည်။ ယင်းသည် နေမှ အနီးဆုံး တောက်ပသော ကြယ်တစ်စင်းလည်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ၁၉၄၃ ခုနှစ်ကတည်းက ကြယ်၏ရောင်စဉ်အား တိုင်းတာပြီး လေ့လာမှုပေါင်းများစွာ လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သည်။[14] ၂၀၀၆ ခုနှစ်တွင် ယင်းကြယ်အား လှည့်ပတ်လျက်ရှိသော နေစကြာဝဠာပြင်ပ ဂြိုဟ် Thestias အား အတည်ပြုနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။[8]
