KKs 3 သည် Local Group ထဲရှိ ဂလက်ဆီပုဖြစ်ပြီး ကမ္ဘာမြေမှ အလင်းနှစ် ၇ မီလီယံ ကွာဝေးသည်။ [3] KKs 3 ၏ ထုထည်မှာ ၂.၃ × ၁၀၇M☉ (နေအဆပေါင်း ၂၃ မီလီယံ) ရှိသည်။[1] ဂလက်ဆီရှိ ၄ ပုံ ၃ ပုံသော ကြယ်များသည် သက်တမ်းအားဖြင့် ၁၂ ဘီလီယံနှစ် ရှိသည်။[1] ယင်းအား ဟာဘယ် အာကာသ တယ်လီစကုပ်မှ ၂၀၁၄ ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလတွင် ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိခဲ့သည်။[6]
