ကတွတ်ပင်

ကတွတ်ပင်သည် ညောင်ပင်မျိုးတွင် ပါဝင်၍ အမြဲစိမ်းလန်းကာ ချုံဖုတ်အကြီးစားကဲ့သို့ တည်ရှိသည်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်အမည်မှာ Fig tree ဖြစ်ပြီး မျိုးစု (Genus)မှာ Figus ဖြစ်သည်။ မျိုးစိတ် (Species) မှာ cunia ဖြစ်ပြီး မျိုးရင်း (Family)မှာ Moraceae ဖြစ်သည်။

အခေါက်၊ အရွက်၊ အသီးနှင့်တကွ တပင်လုံးတွင် အမွေးနုများရှိသည်။ အရွက်ချင်း အညှာ ဆိုင်သည်။ အသီးမှာ ဆီးဖြူသီး အရွယ်ခန့်ရှိ၍ အရောင်မှာဝါပြီးလျှင် အညိုရောင် အမွေးနုများ ဖုံးလွှမ်းနေသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ သစ်တောတိုင်းလိုလိုမှာပင် ကတွတ်ပင်များကို တွေ့ရ၍ အထူးသဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအောက်ပိုင်း၌ ပိုမို တွေ့ရှိရသည်။ ကတွတ်သီးမှည့်ကို လတ်လတ်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ယိုထိုး၍သော်လည်းကောင်း စားသုံးကြသည်။
