NGC 5253

NGC 5253 သည် စင်တောရပ် ကြယ်စုတန်းမှ ပုံစံအတည်တကျမရှိသော ဂလက်ဆီဖြစ်ပြီး Catalogue of Named Galaxies ၌ Igniculus Centauri သို့မဟုတ် မီးတောက်ငယ် ဂလက်ဆီဟု ခေါ်သည်။[4] ယင်းအား ဝီလီယံ ဟာရှယ်က၁၇၈၇ မတ်လ ၁၅ ရက်တွင် ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိခဲ့သည်။[5]
