Windows 7 (codenamed Vienna, ယခင် Blackcomb[7]) သည် မိုက်ခရိုဆော့ဖ်၏ ကွန်ပျူတာ လည်ပတ်ရေးစနစ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး Windows NT မိသားစုထဲမှ တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။ Windows 7 အား ဇူလိုင် ၂၀၀၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်ထုတ်လုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၂၊ ၂၀၀၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်ရရှိခဲ့သည်။[8] မိုက်ခရိုဆော့သည် Windows Vista ၏ အားနည်းချက်များကို ဖာထေးသည့်အနေဖြင့် Windows 7 အား အဆင့်မြင့်တင် ထုတ်လုပ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး ၆ လအတွင်း မိတ္တူအချပ်ရေ ၁၀၀ မီလီယံ ရောင်းချခဲ့ရကာ ၂၀၁၂ ဇူလိုင်လတွင် အချပ်ရေ ၆၃၀ မီလီယံထိ တိုးလာခဲ့သည်။ ၂၀၁၆ ဇွန်လအရ ဈေးကွက်၏ ၄၉.၀၅ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းထိ ရောက်ရှိခဲ့ပြီး လူသုံးအများဆုံး os တစ်ခုအဖြစ် ရပ်တည်ခဲ့သည်။[9]
